Confidentiality Policy
Siminca’s Confidentiality Policy
- We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of all the personal and professional information acquired during the course of our professional relationship with clients or persons who contact us for information.
- We will preserve indefinitely the confidentiality of this information.
- Any employee or agent of Siminca is forbidden from:
- divulging clients’ personal or professional information
- disclosing the fact of having been consulted or retained by a person or
- ever using such confidential information for his or her own benefit, for the benefit of a third party or to the disadvantage of the Client.
- Siminca is committed to taking all reasonable measures to preserve and ensure the safekeeping of the Client’s information even after termination of any signed retainer.
- Exceptions. Disclosure of a Client’s confidential information may be permitted in the following circumstances:
- where expressly or impliedly authorized by the Client
- where compelled by law or legal process or
- where differences have arised between and a Client and Siminca, and such disclosure is required for Siminca to defend itself against any allegations, before a court, tribunal or procedure mandated by the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
- All Siminca employees and agents are bound by this Confidentiality Policy.
